Orville Claude Cooper, Jr. Orville Claude Cooper, Jr., age 49, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Orville was born the son of Orville Claude Cooper, Sr. and Katie Evelyn (Adams) Minnis on September 25, 1968, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He worked for Epperson Farms, Laredo, Missouri. He loved horseback riding, and enjoyed Chillicothe State FFA Creed speaking. Survivors include two sons, Cordell Cooper of Carrollton, Missouri, and Gabriel Cooper of Carrollton, Missouri; two daughters, Amanda McWhirter and husband Shane of Slater, Missouri, and Jacquline Cooper of Brookline, Missouri; three stepsons, Nick, Layton, and Troy Doss of Harden, Missouri; three grandchildren, Hunter Wright, Ian McWhirter, and Bently McWhirter; fiancé, Bobbi Buchko of Hale, Missouri; four brothers, Doug Cooper and wife Patricia of Chillicothe, Missouri, Michael Cooper of Kyle, Texas, Jan Earp of Moberly, Missouri, and Willard Cooper and wife Nancy of Bosworth, Missouri; eight sisters, Frances Ireland of Dawn, Missouri, Betty Howe of Chillicothe, Missouri, Betty J. Mireles and husband Roy of Fulton, Missouri, Jacqueline Sensenich of Carrollton, Missouri, Jenny Plaggemeyer of Warsaw, Missouri, Lou Ann O'Neal and husband Bob of Carrollton, Missouri, Debbie McElwee and husband Frankie of Slater, Missouri, and Nancy Gardner of Kyle, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Millard Cooper, John Franklin Cooper, and Jim Earp; two brothers-in-law, Sammie J. Ireland, and Wayne Hughes; and deceased significant other, Kelly Ann Doss-Herring. A celebration of life will be held at Hale Community Hall, Hale, Missouri, on September 8, 2018 at 12:00 noon. A private family inurnment will be held at Enon Cemetery, Dawn, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to The Orville Claude Cooper, Jr., Memorial fund in the name of Amanda McWhirter and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
