Orvil J Mann Orvil J Mann, age 86, a lifelong resident of Mooresville, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017, at his residence. Orvil was born the son of Samuel Frank and Mabel Pearl (Allen) Mann on October 14, 1930, in Mooresville, Missouri. He was a graduate of Mooresville High School. He served in the United States Army from 1947 until 1952. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Lou Williams on November 9, 1951, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She preceded him in death on September 15, 2010. Orvil was owner/operator of Mann Construction for over 60 years. He enjoyed working, fishing, guitar playing and singing. Survivors include one son, Mike Mann and wife Dorothy of Mooresville, Missouri; two daughters, Brenda Estabrook of Mooresville, Missouri, and Toi Swartz and husband Jeff of Mooresville, Missouri; one son-in-law Ed Estabrook of Breckenridge, Missouri; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and one brother, Otis Mann of Mooresville, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie; daughter, Nancy Elliott; one son-in-law Terry Elliott; one sister, Elizabeth Dolan; and three brothers, Oscar, Otto, and Oran Mann. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri and/or the Mann Family Home in Mooresville, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, Missouri.
