Orin Floyd Francis, age 94, a resident of Bogard, Missouri, passed away December 3, 2010, at Indian Hills Retirement Village in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was born February 5, 1916 in New Raymer, Colorado, the son of Ferdinand and Ida (Mills) Francis. On December 24, 1938, he married Alice Regina Flanders in Golden, Colorado. He was a truck driver for Santa Fe Railway in Denver, Colorado for 32 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II. He was a member of the Northglenn Baptist Church before moving to Missouri, where he attended the Enon Baptist Church for many years. He is survived by 3 sons, Bob Francis and wife Mary of Bogard, Missouri, Bill Francis and wife Dorothy of Casa Grande, Arizona, and Ron Francis and wife Gina of Arvada, Colorado; two daughters, Janice Musick and husband Kenneth of Denver, Colorado, and Louise McGee and husband Roy of Westminster, Colorado; 23 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Alice; son Jim Francis; brothers Art, Joe and Lee; sisters Hazel, Pearl and Edna; and an infant sister. A visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe on Monday, December 6, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends may call from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. A visitation will be held at Advantage Runyan-Stevenson Chapel in Lakewood, Colorado, on Friday, December 10, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Garden, Denver, Colorado.
