Norman L. Weaver Norman L. Weaver, age 68, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at his residence. Norman was born the son of Almus Henry and Pauline (Williams) Weaver on January 8, 1949, in Westmoreland, Kansas. He was a 1967 graduate of Prague High School, Prague, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army from 1967 until 1970, as Military Police. He was united in marriage to Barbara Breeden on February 26, 1972, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives of the home. Norman worked as a police officer in Washington D.C. from 1970 until his retirement in 1977. He then owned/operated the Chillicothe Bowling Alley from 1989 until 1994. Norman then went to work as a service writer at Chillicothe Ford from 1994 until 2004. Lastly he worked at North Missouri Youth Services from 2005 until 2012. Norman was a member of the Chillicothe Elks Lodge 656 and the Vern R. Glick American Legion Post 25. Survivors include his wife, Barbara of the home; four sons, Johnny Weaver of Sacramento, California, Wayne McDaniel of FOA Washington, Maryland, Danny McDaniel of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Roy Myers Jr. and wife Priscilla of Chillicothe, Missouri; four daughters Cindi Mathewson of Woodbridge, Virginia, Janice Stinson of Chillicothe, Missouri, Carolyn Bondurant of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Susie Shepard of Ronoake, Virginia; one brother, Frank Barnes of Timpson, Texas; three sisters, Sharon Sloan and husband Glen of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Naoma Johnson and husband Mike of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, and Marilyn Whitlock of Venita, Oklahoma; 26 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Leland Weaver, Kenneth Weaver, Ray Couffer, and Vernon Dale Couffer; and two granddaughters, Kimberly Panholzer, and Paula Bondurant. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, May 1, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, May 1, 2017, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Coloma Cemetery, Coloma, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Forest O Triplett Animal Shelter and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
