Norman Ward Norman "Poppy" Ward, age 82, a resident of rural Chula, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri. Norman was born the son of Frank and Edith (Dusenberry) Ward on August 4, 1930, in Chula, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Mary "Louise" Hickman-McCully in Chillicothe, Missouri, on December 28, 1978. He spent most of his life in the Livingston County, Chula community. Norman worked at Midland Brick and Tile, Churchill Truck Lines and Operated Chula Old Towne Convenience Store. He was a member of the Chula Community Christian Church. Norman enjoyed wood working, gardening, and spending time with all of his children. Survivors include wife Mary "Louise" Ward, of the home; four sons, Larry Ward and wife Sherry of Chula, Missouri, Randy Ward and wife Jolita of Chula, Missouri, Mike McCully of Parkville, Missouri, and Rick McCully and wife Carla of Chillicothe, Missouri; one sister, Dixie Fahaley of Independence, Missouri; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one great grandson Levi Webb. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 29, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
