Norma "Darlene" Breeden Norma "Darlene" Breeden, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015, at Morningside Center. Norma was born the daughter of Everrett O. and Helen D. (Hedrick) Billups on January 29, 1933, in Indian Groove, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Valvert Breeden on July 22, 1951, he preceded her in death on August 25, 2011. She was very active in the Calvary Baptist Church and the Jewell Dowell Sunday Class at Calvary Baptist.She graduated from Mendon High School in 1950. She has been a resident of Chillicothe since 1951. Norma was a cook for the Chillicothe RII School district for over 20 years. Survivors include: one son, Bill Breeden and wife Millie of Chillicothe; one sister, June Sowder of Chillicothe; one sister-in-law Phyllis Lionberger; four grandchildren, Rachel Boley and husband Rick of Chillicothe, Travis Breeden and wife Melody of Hamilton, Ohio, Brian Garr and wife Karin of Chillicothe, and Kevin Garr and wife Ashley of Pella, Iowa; nine great grandchildren, Kiley and Kinlei Boley of Chillicothe, Missouri, Kaitlyn Dinwiddie and husband Josh of Braymer, Missouri, Isabella Garr of Chillicothe, Missouri, Hudson, Landen, and Bennett Breeden of Hamilton, Ohio, and Jayme and Haley Garr of Pella, Iowa; one great-greandchild, Lynnlee Dinwiddie of Braymer, Missouri; several neices, nephews and cousins.She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Norma Garr; two brothers, Wayne and Eddie Billups; three sisters, Alice Welch, Lucille Sires, and Willie Tripplett; one brother-in-law, Clyde Lionberger. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Missouri. A scheduled family visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 pm at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
