Nickolas Lee Spainhour

Nickolas Lee Spainhour Nickolas Lee Spainhour, age 39, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018, in Bedford, Missouri. Nickolas was born the son of Carlton Everett Spainhour and Rachel (Batson) Spainhour on February 15, 1979, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He attended Chillicothe schools his whole life and graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1998. In November of 1998, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country until 2002. He was currently employed at BNSF Railroad. On August 8, 2015, Nick married Courtney Manning in Chillicothe, Missouri. Nick enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was the father of four children and enjoyed spending time with them and the rest of his family. He was always willing to help anyone. He helped some of his friends put on a haunted house last year and was waiting to help again. Action movies, fireworks, and good food were also favorites of Nick's. Nick is survived by his wife, Courtney, of the home; his mother and father, Rachel and Ronnie Bowes, of Chillicothe, Missouri; two sons, Conner Spainhour, of Purdin, Missouri, and Carlynn Spainhour, of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Tymber Spainhour, of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Tenzli Brannam, of Chillicothe, Missouri; two brothers, Jeremy Bowes, and partner, Tafi, of Avalon, Missouri, and Matthew Spainhour, of Avalon, Missouri;   one sister, Lacinda Taube, and husband, Ben, of St. Joseph, Missouri; one grandfather, Floyd Spainhour, and wife Jenny, of Hale, Missouri; and two grandmothers, Patty Stevens, of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Doris Bowes, of Avalon, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. Nick was preceded in death by his father, Carl Spainhour; his grandfathers, Russell Batson and Francis Bowes; and grandmother, Mary Aerwana Spainhour. Funeral Services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
