Neva Jane Head

Neva Jane Head Neva Head, age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Neva was born the daughter of John and Betty (Roberts) Sizemore on May 4, 1935, in Lindley, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Gail Wilford Head Sr. on October 17, 1953 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2001. Neva worked as a sewer for Lambert Glove Factory for many years. She was a member of the Souls Harbor Church of God, Chillicothe. Survivors include, two daughters, Teresa King of Utica, Missouri, and "Punky" Betty Shaw of Chillicothe, Missouri; one step-son Gail Head Jr. and wife Margaret of Chillicothe, Missouri; two sisters, Eva Skinner of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Betty Ann Logan and husband Richard "Dick" Logan of Marshall, Missouri; nine grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gail Head Sr. and son Michael Head; great-grandson Landon Cecil King; son-in-law Chuck King; four sisters, May Keithley, Rosie Alexander, Daisy Wright, and Ruby Carroll; and four brothers, Donal Sizemore, Ivan Sizemore, Billy Lee Sizemore, and Floyd Dean Sizemore. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, December 11, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
