Nellie Marie Gurley Nellie Marie Gurley, age 95, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. Nellie was born the daughter of Rudolph and Alice (Pitzer) Meyers on July 3, 1920, in Hannibal, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Joel Clarence (Whick) McBee on February 8, 1941, in Bowling Green, Missouri. She was then married to Nathan Dingle in June 1969 in Hamilton, Missouri. Later she was married to Lesley Gurley on February 14, 1986 in Hamilton, Missouri. Nellie was a member of the Baptist church in Hamilton, Missouri. She was a member of the Livewire Sunday School class, Spring Hill Club, and the Women's Missionary Union. Nellie was an avid bowler; she enjoyed fishing, making quilts and card playing. She loved getting together with her family. Survivors include, two sons, Mark McBee and wife Cindy of Hamilton, Missouri, and Jerry McBee and wife Dixie of Braymer, Missouri; three daughters, Bonnie Fraser and husband Ed of New London, Missouri, Loretta Batchelar and husband Gary of Bettendorf, Iowa, Jackie Ison and husband Paul of Union Star, Missouri; one step-daughter Darlene Puckett and husband Raymond of Hamilton, Missouri; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and nine step great-grandchildren; and one sister Mary Gilert of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, four brothers; two sisters; two sons; one grandson; one great-grandson; one great-granddaughter; one step grandson; two step sons; and one step daughter. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at McBee Chapel Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
