Nancy Rosetta Cooper Schiskie, age 60, a resident of Yerington, Nevada, formerly of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Reno, Nevada. Nancy was born in Kansas City, Missouri on April 1, 1951 the daughter of Denzil and Marion (Allnutt) Cooper. Nancy was a graduate from Chillicothe High School. She worked for over 25 years as a communicator with Perquimans County 911. She was also a member of the Edward G. Bond Unit 40 of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Edenton Tea Party Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include her husband, William Schiskie; two daughters, Tammy S. Blake and husband Michael, and Elisabeth S. Jarvis and husband Michael, all of Edenton, North Carolina; four sisters, Sharon Gordon of Independence, Missouri, Patricia Bivens of Tyner, North Carolina, Cheryl Lynn Johnson of Brownsburg, Indiana, and Donna Maye Smith of Princeton, Missouri; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Crystal, Rebecca, and Thomas Blake, and Rose and Johnathan Jarvis; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Delaine Marie Cosgrove; and two brothers, Reuben Dee Cooper and Denzil Cooper.
