Nancy Joan Rogers, age 60, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at her residence on Friday, October 01, 2010. She was born on October 15, 1949, in Chillicothe, Missouri, the daughter of Fred and Joeann (Erickson) Merryfield. She was a graduate of Southwest High School, Ludlow, Missouri in 1967. On September 27, 1980 she was married to Donald Keith Rogers in Chillicothe Missouri. He survives of the home. Nancy lived most her life in Chillicothe, and Braymer, Missouri and was a member of Utica Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Donald of the home, her two daughters, Jenifer Lee of Braymer, Missouri, Brandi Perry and husband Patrick of Eudora Kansas; her mother Joeann Osborn of Harrisonville, Missouri, two sisters, Vickie Gibson and husband Gary of Braymer, Missouri, Sheilah Rupple of Chillicothe, Missouri; five grandchildren Cierra Adams of Braymer, Missouri, Olivia Adams of Braymer, Missouri, Carlie Adams of Braymer, Missouri, Mya Lee of Braymer, Missouri, and Tucker Perry of Eudora, Kansas. Also surviving are friends Diane and Randy Dinwiddie, Hannah Dinwiddie, Emily Warner and Charlee Warner; several aunts and uncles, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death was her father. Funeral services will be held at the Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Sunday October 3, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. at the Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the Pitts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601. Arrangements are under the direction of the Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri.
