Nancy "Blondie" June Rex, age 71, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at her residence.
Nancy was born the daughter of Earl and Bessie (Padgett) Allen on April 26, 1948, in Sumner, Missouri. She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1966. She was united in marriage to Zora Glenn Rex Jr. on June 30, 1966 in Princeton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1996. She loved spending time with her grandkids and sewing. Nancy always had hugs for friends, as well as celebrating "National Hug an Old Lady Day'.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Rex and wife Penny of Utica, Missouri; three grandchildren, McKenzie Campbell-Rex, Alexis Rex, and Allie Jackson; two sisters, Darlene Dodson of Garfield, Arkansas, Janet Harris and husband Richard of Clarence, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Zora; and one son, Glenn Ray Rex.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
