Myrna Shaw

Myrna Shaw, age 98, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at The Baptist Home, Chillicothe. Myrna was born the daughter of James and Arvella (Heath) Decker on February 2, 1914 in Carroll County, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Albert Shaw on July 11, 1953 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He survives of the home. During World War II Myrna worked for a company that assembled communications equipment for airplanes. She later worked for the Boss Glove Factory in Chillicothe for more than ten years. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Chillicothe, the Happy Hollow Club, and the Canasta Club. Survivors include, three nieces, Audrey Bragg and husband Clark, of Denver, Colorado, Marcella Baker and husband Howard, of Hale, Missouri, Harriett Sappington and husband Bob, of Columbia, Missouri; two great-nieces, Marci Moritz and husband Lee, of Tina, Missouri, Lynnette Ritter and Husband Kevin, of Chesapeake, Virginia; two nephews, Phillip Green and wife Linda, of Jefferson City, Missouri, Keith Green and wife Claudia, of Germany; and several great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Tressie Wooden and Mamie Daniels; and one brother, Raymond Decker. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation will be held on Friday one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Friends may call the funeral home on Thursday October 11, 2012 from 12 noon until 9:00 PM. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chillicothe, Missouri.
