Mildred Emma Taube Mildred Taube, age 92, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Cameron Nursing and Rehab Center, Cameron, Missouri. Mildred was born the daughter of George and Sarah (Morrow) Amos on December 9, 1921, in Miller County, Missouri. She was united in marriage to David Taube on August 3, 1947, in Tuscumbia, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1965. Mildred worked as a cook at Long Blum Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri, for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and flower gardening. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include one son David Taube of Hale, Missouri; one daughter Lisa Brookshier and husband David of Cameron, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband David; two daughters, Carolyn Silvey and Judy Taube; two sons, Ron Taube and Charles Taube; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. Services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, April 11, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, April 11, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crusade Wrestling Scholarship Fund may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
