Mildred Edna Hughes Mildred Hughes, age 87, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Livingston Manor Care Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Mildred was born the daughter of Rebecca Eliza Gramling on December 31, 1925, in Sullivan County, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Ezra Hughes Jr. on January 31, 1958, in Trenton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2011. Mildred was a 4H project leader. She enjoyed attending auctions, gardening, crafts, fishings, textile painting, and playing cards. Survivors include four daughters, Beverly Ann Fields of Galt, Missouri, Betty Lou Ingle of Fletcher, Oklahoma, June Ann Branstetter and husband Donnie of Trenton, Missouri; and Robin Smith and husband Jerry of Utica, Missouri; 8 grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and nineteen great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother; husband Ezra; one brother Carl; one granddaughter Tammy Fields; and one great-grandson Jeremy Hughes. Services will be held at Henry Cemetery, Reger, Missouri, on Saturday, August 31, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation.
