Michael Dean Sims Michael Sims, age 46, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at St. Luke's North Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Michael was born the son of Glen Dean and Mary Ann Engleman (Sims) on October 11, 1966, in Moline, Illinois. He was united in marriage to Heather McCracken on August 1, 2011, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Survivors include wife Heather, of the home; mother Mary Ann Sims of Trenton, Missouri; one son Noah Sims of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter Sophie Sims of Chillicothe, Missouri; two brothers, Scott Sims and wife Kristi of Laredo, Missouri, and David Sims and wife Charlette of Brookfield, Missouri; four sisters, Terri Bethards and Daryl Pluckrose of Trenton, Missouri, Kelly Jacobs and Dan Baker of Meadville, Missouri, Dena Barron and husband Jose of Trenton, Missouri, and Amy Chowning of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Glen; one sister Kristy; and one brother Jerry. A Memorial service will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 14, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 14, 2013, one hour prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Burial will held at Alpha Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri.
