Michael E. Malone Michael E. Malone, age 63, a resident of Kearney, Missouri, former resident of KnobNoster, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. Michael was born the son of Stanley and Aileene (Bashford) Malone on September 14, 1950, in Caldwell County, Missouri. He was a 1968 graduate of Breckenridge High School, Breckenridge, Missouri. He then attended Central Missouri State University where he graduated with a Master's of Science degree in Guidance Counseling in 1973. He served as a Colonel in the Missouri National Guard where he retired in 1996. He was united in marriage to Barbara McMahan on November 30, 1984, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Michael worked as a Long-term Care Administrator for over 30 years and for the last eight years worked for The Forum in Overland Park, Kansas. He was a member of the Liberty Assembly of God Church, Liberty, Missouri, where he served as a deacon for many years, he was a former member of the Lions Club in Milan, Missouri, the Missouri Health Care Association, and American Legion Milan, Missouri. He is survived by his wife Barbara Malone; four sons, Shawn McBee and wife Bridgett of Corder, Missouri, Matt Malone and wife Cathy of Hamilton, Missouri, Jeff McBee and wife Laura of Kearney, Missouri, and Tim Malone of Stanberry, Missouri; three daughters, Robyn Coberley of Liberty, Missouri, Cathy McElwee and husband Mike of Kearney, Missouri, and Courtney Malone of Gallatin, Missouri; one sister Kaye Hunsicker and husband Larry of Kidder, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter Katie McElwee; and one great-grandson Kayden May-Rolle. Funeral services will be held at the Liberty Assembly of God Church, Liberty, Missouri, on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, and on Saturday, November 16, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Liberty Assembly of God Church, Liberty, Missouri.
