Michael L. Long, age 37, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Friday, February 4, 2011 in Holden, Missouri. He was born the son of Huey L. and Ruth Ann (Street) Long on October 3, 1973 In Chillicothe, Missouri. He married Jeana Rhodes on June 24, 2000 in Warsaw, Missouri who survives him. Michael was a boys basketball coach, a Scout Leader, and a member of the PTA. He was preceded in death by his father, Huey Long, his paternal Grandfather, William C. Long, and his maternal Grandfather, Howard Street. He is survived by his wife; Jeana (Rhodes) Long of Holden, Missouri, his Mother and Stepfather; Richard and Ruth Ann Sizemore of Wolcott, Indiana, three sons; Mace long of Orlando Florida and Riley and Gabriel Long of Holden, Missouri; two daughters, Gracie Long of Holden, Missouri and Marena Sterk of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota; three brothers; Chris Long and wife Malissa of Whitney Texas, Matthew Long and wife Tasha of Winsor, Missouri; and Luke Sizemore and wife Danielle of Wolcott Indiana: one stepbrother, Eric Smith and wife Sarah of Chilhowee, Missouri; two sisters; Lisa Rudolf and husband of St. Charles, Illinois; and Lori Casey and husband, also of St. Charles, Illinois; Paternal Grandmother, Florence Long of Urbana, Missouri and Maternal Grandmother Marilyn Shipp, and Dick and Thelma Garr, all of Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 pm, Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri with visitation to follow.
