Michael Dean Barnard Michael Dean Barnard, age 61, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, Missouri, surrounded by his family. Mike was born the son of Lloyd Franklin and Shirley Ann (Cain) Barnard on September 14, 1954, in Braymer, Missouri. He served as a Private 1st Class in the United States Army. He worked for Whites Auto Supply in Chillicothe, Missouri, for many years, and had a Camaro and Harley Davidson that he was very proud of. Mike was a member of the Braymer Christian Church, Braymer, Missouri. He was an avid fan of Hank Williams Jr. and the Rolling Stones. He was also a Yankees and KC Royals baseball fan. Mike was very patriotic and loved his family and friends. He had a big heart of gold. Survivors include one son, Christopher Scott Barnard and wife Rhonda; two daughters, Kelly Barnard and Kendra Barnard; five grandchildren, Brett, Riley, Logan, Jada and Bayley; one sister, Patricia (Patty Lou) McPheeters; one nephew, Blake McPheeters; a special cousin, Angie Kincaid; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cameron Veterans Assistance League and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
