Merlene Faye Hosier
Merlene Faye Hosier, age 74, a resident of Higginsville, Missouri, a former resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
Merlene was born the daughter of Merle Lee and Helen I. (Phillips) Hosier on August 17, 1946, in Chillicothe, Misasouri. She was a member of the Braymer Church of Christ, Braymer, Missouri. Merlene was a gentle person who had a great sense of humor and liked to joke. She loved gospel and country music. She also loved fishing, picnics, puzzles, magazines, and collecting trinkets. Merlene had a large collection of jewelry and purses. She liked dancing and taking vacations, but most of all she loved her family. Merlene also liked to decorate her house for all holidays, but Christmas was her favorite.
Survivors include one sister, Martha Berry of Chillicothe, Missouri; one nephew, Clint Berry of Chillicothe, Missouri; and numerous cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents
Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation.
