Melody A. Brown Melody A. Brown, age 66, a resident of Brookfield, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia, Missouri. Melody was born the daughter of James and Phyllis (Duncan) Mock on January 10, 1947, in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She was a graduate of Tonkawa High School. She was united in marriage to Raymond Brown on September 9, 1966, in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2012. Survivors include one son, David Brown of Germany; one daughter, Opal Cherokee Kate Brown and husband Bryant McCracken of Brookfield, Missouri; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Vanessa, B.J., Bailey, and Brianna; and four great grandchildren, Dameon, Ashton, Alexis, and Xander. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Raymond. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
