Maurine Richey

Maurine "Ruth" Richey Maurine "Ruth" Richey, age 89, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. Ruth was born the daughter of Clarence and Martha (Todd) Johnson on April 14, 1923 in Osgood, Missouri. On June 29, 1946 she was united in marriage to Hardee Richey in Troy, Kansas. He survives the home. Ruth was a Certified Medical Assistance at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer, Missouri, for 20 years and a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband, Hardee Richey of the home; two sons, Jerry Don Richey and wife Lisa of Hamilton, Missouri, and Kenneth Lee Richey, of Braymer, Missouri; one daughter Sandra Jordan and husband Orson of Chino, California; one sister, Dana Clair Moss, of Chillicothe, Missouri. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Hugh Hoyt Richey, and Johnson "John" Heisterberg; one brother George Johnson; and two sisters, Velda Imogene McClure and Coleen Burnadette Crowley. Services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Braymer Baptist Church. There will be a family visitation on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 10:30 AM until service time at the Braymer Baptist church. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
