He enjoyed reading and watching sci-fi movies. He adored his nephews, Caiden and Zander.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Rita Utley Goode of Chillicothe, Missouri; two brothers, James Goode and wife, Nicole of Versailles, Missouri, and Nicholas Goode of Chillicothe, Missouri; two nephews, Caiden and Zander Goode. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leon Dale Utley.
