Matthew Hays, age 54, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
Matthew was born the son of Jerry Joe and Charlotte (Burgess) Hays on February 20, 1969 in Richmond, Missouri. From the time Matthew entered pre-school until he graduated high school, he did not miss a single day of school. He was a 1987 graduate of Braymer High School and attended Central Missouri State University. Matthew was united in marriage to Damon (Dame) Youngblood on July 28, 2001, in Braymer, Missouri.
He was a truck driver for Keim T S, Braymer, Missouri, for over 30 years. He also enjoyed being a farmhand for Estabrook Farms, Braymer, Missouri. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, drinking beer, telling stories and helping out with the harvest.
Survivors include his wife, Dame, of the home; his parents, Jerry Joe and Charlotte Hays of Braymer, Missouri; two sons, Matthew Ty Hays and significant other, Samantha Krzeminski of Braymer, Missouri and Kegen Hays of Braymer, Missouri; his dog, Max; one sister, Monica Hays of Braymer, Missouri; and four nieces, Keslie, Kamikal, Kyireal, and Kaelea all of Braymer, Missouri.
