Mary Helen Thompson Mary Helen Thomson, age 86, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away at her residence in Chillicothe, Missouri on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. She was born on March 2, 1930, the daughter of Wallace Taylor and Edna Marie (Case) Hooker in Livingston County, Missouri. She was married to William Edward Thompson on November 5, 1955, in the Ward Presbyterian Church. She was a 1948 graduate of the Chillicothe RII High School. Immediately following graduation she was hired by the Chillicothe School District to begin her career in office work. She later retired after twenty years from the Missouri State Employment Office, as a Technician. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was also an RSVP member, a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Grand River Historical Society Museum. She is survived by her husband, William E. "Bill" Thompson, of the home, four children; twins, Debby Kay Busking and husband Larry of Norman, Oklahoma and Eddy Ray Thompson and wife Sharon of Springfield, Missouri, Angela Lea Warren and husband Patrick of Kansas City, Missouri, Carolyn Grace Greenwood and husband Dave of Breckenridge, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles R. Hooker and wife Sandy of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Zachary T. Hooker and wife Marjory of Griggsville, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Wesley and Raymond Hooker; two sisters, Mildred L. Rensch and Dixie L. Bohn, her brothers-in-law, Oliver Bohn and John T. Rensch; and a niece Stephany Hooker. Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, November 11, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday November 11, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
