Mary Jane North

Mary Jane North Mary Jane North, age 90, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehab, Richmond, Missouri. Mary was born the daughter of Merle B and Belva (Peters) North on June 24, 1923, near Dawn, Missouri. Mary attended rural schools and graduated from Norborne High School and William Jewell College. She worked for Prudential Financial Services for 30 years. Survivors include one brother, William B. North and wife Suzanne of Prairie Village, Kansas; and nephew David B. North of Kansas City, Missouri; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother William Robert North. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shirkey Hospice and Palliative Care and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
