Mary Lucille Miller

Mary Lucille Miller, age 97, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, September 23, 2010. She was born the daughter of Jess and Estill (Cook) Epperson near Callao, Missouri, on August 30, 1913. In 1960 she married William (Bill) Miller in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1981. She grew up in Macon County, Missouri. Mary worked as a Nurses aid at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. She also worked as a sales clerk at L & O Sales, in Chillicothe, Missouri until they closed. She then worked at Chucks Pet and Garden Center in Chillicothe, Missouri until she retired. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. She loved to fish, play cards and dominoes. She is survived by one son Wesley Epperson and daughter-in-law Lois of Chillicothe, Missouri; one brother John Epperson and sister-in-law Virgie of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister Bernice Breiner and brother-in-law Bud of Erie, Kansas; three grandchildren, Mike Epperson and wife Connie, Kerri Schneider and husband John, Kevin Epperson and friend Glenda all of Chillicothe, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister and her long time companion Forrest Donoho. Funeral Services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, September 26, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
