Mary Elizabeth McBrien Mary McBrien, age 77, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at her residence in Braymer, Missouri. Mary Elizabeth Conner McBrien was born August 3, 1936. Mary was the second child and first daughter of Ela James Conner and Idah Verlee Conner. Her siblings are James Conner, Sarah Blann, Jane Snead, and Roy Conner. Mary was the wife of James Doniphan McBrien, Sr. and they had three children. Sue Lynn McCarty, Kimberley Ann Brotherton, and James Doniphan McBrien, Jr. Mary was also the grandmother of four grandchildren Christopher Allen King, Drew Hayden Brotherton, Luke James McCarty, and Kyle James McCarty. Additionally, she also had three great-grandchildren, Oscar and Kayla, and Eli James Mary was also the mother-in-law to Steve McCarty, husband of Sue McBrien McCarty; Thomas Brotherton, husband of Kimberley McBrien Brotherton, and Edward Papacena, husband of James Doniphan McBrien, Jr. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held at the Richmond Memorial Gardens, Richmond, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and/or St. Luke's Hospice of Chillicothe and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
