Mary "June" Martin Mary "June" Martin, age 90, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. June was born the daughter of Roscoe and Katie (Graham) Heavner on May 20, 1927, in Caldwell County, Missouri. She was a 1945 graduate of Braymer High School. She was united in marriage to Dean Martin on August 13, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1998. June worked as a secretary for William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, for many years. She was a member of the Investment Club, and a book club. She enjoyed animals, aqua aerobics, lake life and spending her winters in Florida. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Linda La Rocca and husband John of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Piper Wilson, Paige Wilson, Anthony La Rocca and wife Molly, Allison La Rocca, and Dominic La Rocca; one great grandchild, Kana Moorman; two brothers, Bruce Graham Heavner of Liberty, Missouri, and Jim Heavner of Cameron, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean; and one sister, Judith Ann Bruns. Funeral services will be held at the Braymer Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Braymer Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, November 18, 2017, one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Golden Age Nursing Home "Patio Fund" and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, P.O.
