Mary Elizabeth Mackley

Mary Elizabeth Mackley Mary Mackley, age 87, went home to Jesus on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. She was a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri until November 2000. She then moved to Columbia, Missouri to make her home close to her son. Mary was born daughter of Henry and Gertrude Venneman, on May 9, 1924. She married Frank Mackley in 1941 in Chillicothe, Missouri. They shared their life together until Frank's passing in 2004. They had four children. She was a member of St. Columban's Catholic Church in Chillicothe, Missouri. She is survived by two sons, Dennis Mackley and wife Vicki of Dawn, Missouri; Richard Mackley and wife Leann of Columbia, Missouri; one daughter, Shirley Ralls and husband Lefty of Utica, Missouri; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Gary Mackley, four brothers, Henry, Joe, Michael and Ambrose Venneman, and four sisters, Francis Williard, Ann Rains, Dorothy Naraccio, and Johanna Rust. Mary, you will be greatly missed by all who loved you. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at Lindley Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. with a visitation to follow. Burial will be at St. Columban's Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be left to Alzheimer's Foundation and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
