Mary Elizabeth Hibner
Mary Elizabeth Hibner, age 86, a resident of Concordia, Missouri, and a former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, at The Living Center of Marshall, Marshall, Missouri.
Mary was born the daughter of Clyde and Edith (Wheelbarger) Minnis on January 4, 1936, in Livingston County, Missouri. She was a graduate of Tina-Avalon High School. Sewing was both a hobby and an occupation as she worked many years at Midwest Glove. Hedrick Medical Center and The Baptist Home were companies where she worked as a dietary aide and caregiver for the elderly after she retired. Mary enjoyed being a mother to her five children.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Zumbrunnen and husband, Chris of Concordia, Missouri; two sons, Larry Kissick, and wife, Sherry of Bogard, Missouri and Gary Kissick and wife, Cindy of Dearborne, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Jerry Kissick, Jr, John Kissick, Galen Broyles, Heidi Broyles, Jeremy Kissick, Stefanie Kissick, Jamie Clevenger, Mathew Kissick, James Zumbrunnen and Rachel DeBusk; eighteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; sisters Doris Hussey of Avalon, Missouri, and Carolyn McCracken and husband, Gary of Bogard, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Bev Kissick of Chillicothe, Missouri; sister-in-law Mary Minnis of Utica, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Kissick; great grandson, Carson Clevenger; parents; three brothers, Roy, Gene and Bobby Dean Minnis; four sisters, Martha Taylor, Lucille Powers, Eva DeArmon, and Bonnie Thompson; and infant sister, Lulu.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, Friday, September 30, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to service. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Arkadelphia Cemetery, Hale, Missouri.
