Mary Jo Faubion Heisterberg Mary Jo Faubion Heisterberg, 64 years old, a resident of Chillicothe, MO, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, 7:50 p.m. at her residence surrounded by family. She was born the daughter of Edna Catherine (Powers) Faubion and Joseph Charles Faubion on May 13, 1949, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Mary Jo was a graduate of Robert E Lee College in Baytown, TX. Upon returning to Chillicothe, MO she began a career at the Chillicothe Correctional Center, retiring after twenty seven years. While at Chillicothe Correctional Center she was a CO I, CO II, and a CCA, she was a member of the E squad and earned many accolades and special honors. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chillicothe, MO and was baptized there as a young teenager. Especially important to her were her dogs, Baroness, Beauregard and Chase. She is survived by one sister, Betty Kathryn (Faubion) Hicks, of Chillicothe, MO; two daughters, Angela Turner and husband Eric, of Chillicothe, MO and Danielle Ishmael and husband Steven, of Trenton, MO; 12 grandchildren, Seanacie Turner, of Columbia, MO, Savannah Jimenez, Kelton Diggs and Edison Turner, all of Chillicothe, MO. Zach Ishmael, Christina Ishmael, Joey Bruckner, Austen Bruckner, Jacob Ishmael and wife Sierra, and Sheldon Ishmael, all of Trenton, MO, and Joshua Ishmael and wife Katelyn, of Princeton, MO; 12 great grandchildren and two on the way; one aunt, Marilyn Wensel and husband Gary, of Chillicothe, MO and dear friend, Brad Stacy, of Chillicothe, MO along with many very dear cousins. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; one infant nephew, Joseph Charles Hicks; and several aunts and uncles. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Wheeling Cemetery in Wheeling, MO. A scheduled family visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO on Monday, April 21, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
