Mary Melissa Hamrick

Mary Melissa Hamrick Mary Hamrick, age 92, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on June 23, 2013, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Mary was born the daughter of George and Cora (Settle) Johnson on September 13, 1920, in Dawn, Missouri. She graduated from Utica High School, Utica, Missouri, in 1937. She was united in marriage to Ted Hamrick on April 13, 1940, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1994. Mary worked as a partner and book keeper for Hamrick Refrigeration and Electronics for 50 years. She was a member of the CB Radio Club, a former Girl Scout Leader, active in her church and loved going to the Senior Center. Survivors include one son, Larry Hamrick and wife Janice, of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters Mary Baskett and husband Roger of O'Fallon, Illinois, and Beverly Hamrick, of Chillicothe, Missouri; six grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; special nieces, Donna Forest and Vera Glenn; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ted Hamrick; five brothers, Durward, Delmar, Frosty, Jack, Oren; two infant brothers; and two sisters, Vera Glenn and Velma Satterlee. Services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Oats Transportation Inc. and/or Saint Luke's Home Health and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
