Mary Helen Grozinger

Mary Helen Grozinger Mary Grozinger, age 80, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Mary was born the daughter of James Calvin and Etta May (Shockley) Key on May 23, 1933, in Norborne, Missouri. She graduated from Tina High School, Tina, Missouri in 1951. She was united in marriage to Leland Grozinger in Carrollton, Missouri, on August 1, 1952. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2013. She moved to Chillicothe in 1990 from the farm. Mary worked as a Service Representative for the Social Security Administration for many years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Mary enjoyed genealogy, storytelling, puzzles, writing letters, and spending time with her friends and family. Survivors include one son Jim Grozinger and wife Paula of Wheeling, Missouri; two grandchildren Kimberly Marshall and husband Jeff Marshall of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Brett Grozinger and Tessa Wardenburg of Wheeling, Missouri; two great grandchildren Adler and Abby Marshall of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leland; and one brother James Key Jr. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 6, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 6, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Burial will be held at Blue Mound Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Chillicothe and/or Blue Mound Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
