Mary Sue Ewing Mary Sue Ewing, age 78, a resident of Chillicothe passed away at Life Care Center of Carrollton on Saturday August 31, 2013. Mary was born the daughter of Charles and Pearl (Johnson) Porter on January 3, 1935 in Harrisburg, Missouri. Mary worked at Midwest gloves in Chillicothe for 34 years. She was a member of the Chillicothe Eagles aerie #2428, and enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, and going to garage sales. She most of all enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Mary is survived by three sons; David Ewing of Richardson Texas, Allen Dale Ewing and wife Peggy of Bogard, Missouri, and Anthony Ewing and wife Brandi of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter Bobbi Sue Winsor and husband Tony of Chillicothe, Missouri. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Edward Porter and four sisters Ruth Richardson, Pauline Rundle, Dorothy Patton, and Ina Merrill. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call on Tuesday September 3, 2013 from Noon until 6:00 PM at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and may be left at or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home P.O. Box 47 Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
