Mary Rosanne Ellis, age 90, a resident of Lawson, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Excelsior Springs Hospital, Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
Mary was born the daughter of Lawrence and Mary (Konechne) Geis on November 19, 1931, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was a graduate of The Teachers College High School, Lincoln, Nebraska. Mary was united in marriage to Lester Ellis on October 30, 1948, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1999.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeanne Humphrey and husband Lawrence of Holt, Missouri, and Amy Ellis-Wilson and husband Gerald of Lathrop, Missouri; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester; two daughters, Pauline Eckstein and Sharon Dittoe and husband Daniel; one grandson, Christopher Humphrey; and one granddaughter, Kathy Dieken.
Cremation was held. No services are schedule at this time. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Converse Cemetery, Lathrop, Missouri.
