Mary Elliott

Mary Elliott Mary Elliott, age 83, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Mary was born the daughter of Charles and Ruby (Sturgeon) Kaiser on April 27, 1931, in Iowa. She moved to Chillicothe from Iowa in 1940. She was a 1949 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Roger Elliot in 2009. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2012. Mary worked as a beautician at the Mary's Beauty Shop for many years. She also worked at McDonalds for many years. Mary was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe. She loved being a hairdresser and loved her job at McDonalds. Mary had a love for people. Survivors include one son Robert Howe and wife Dean Ann of Wheeling, Missouri; grandson Robert Howe II and wife Amanda of Chula, Missouri; granddaughter, Amanda Howe of Wheeling, Missouri; stepdaughter Marieta Lamers of Moberly, Missouri; step son Lonnie Dewey and wife Karen of Ozark, Missouri; sister-in-law Doris Post of Chillicothe, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Haley, Madalyn, and Hallie Howe of Chula, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Roger Elliott. Graveside service will be held at the Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri, on Friday, October 17, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. A family visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 16, 2014, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
