Mary Helen Burtch Mary Helen Burtch, age 94, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on January 14, 2014, at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri. Mary was born the daughter of Thomas A. and Ethel (Pridemore) Kimbrough on November 15, 1919, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Willie Burtch on December 24, 1936, at the Baptist Church Parsonage in Meadville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1996. They made their home in Linn County. Mary loved catering, crocheting, ceramics, and crafts. She was a member of True Blue Club and the Mount Olive Baptist Church. Survivors include one son Tom Burtch and wife Linda of Chula, Missouri; three grandchildren, Melinda Ann Burtch of Montgomery City, Missouri, Anthony Thomas Burtch and wife Nancy of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Holly Renae Boxley and husband Blake of Princeton, Missouri; five great grandchildren, Benjamin, Tucker, and Sadie Burtch of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Evan and Cooper Boxley of Princeton, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters Billie Rukavina and Margaret Ziegler; and one brother Nolan Kimbrough. Funeral services will be held at the Mount Olive Baptist Church, north of Meadville, Missouri, on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Mount Olive Cemetery.
