Mary Jane Baugher Mary Jane Baugher, age 93, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017, at Indian Hills - A Stonebridge Community, Chillicothe, Missouri. Mary Jane was born the daughter of Uriah Evart and Dora Jane (Humphreys) Ralls on May 5, 1923, in Osgood, Missouri, on the family farm. She was united in marriage to Melvin Baugher on October 17, 1943, in Trenton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1995. She worked as a sewer at Lambert Glove Factory for many years. Mary Jane was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, where she volunteered in the clothing room. She was also a volunteer at the Grand River Historical Society Museum and Meals on Wheels. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include one son, Evart Baugher and wife Katie of Madison, Illinois; three daughters, Elaine Painter of Kansas City, Missouri, Dee Koehler and husband Bill of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Pat Skipper and husband Wayne of Chillicothe, Missouri; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Molloy of Carbondale, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin; one daughter, Lorraine Lawson; one grandson, Tim Painter; two great grandbabies, Aidan and Lilly Painter; and five brothers. Funeral services will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, March 13, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, March 13, 2017, one hour prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, March 12, 2017, 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
