Mary Frances Anderson, age 89, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019, at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri.
Mary Frances Anderson was born the daughter of Gilbert and Anna (Dawkins) Johnson on November 28, 1929, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1945. She was united in marriage to John C. "Jack" Anderson on January 25, 1946, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2008. Mary was a resident of Chillicothe all her life. She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family and helping others.
Survivors include one son, Mike Anderson and wife Carol of Chillicothe, Missouri; two grandchildren, Greg Anderson of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Leslie Minnis and husband Cory of Chillicothe, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Drew Minnis and Max Anderson of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Carley Anderson and Maddie Anderson, of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Patricia Anderson of Edwardsville, Illinois; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband John C. "Jack" Anderson; son, Pat Anderson; six brothers, Bill, Clarence, Russell, Nathan, Lloyd, and Marvin; and two sisters, Clara Johnson and Viola Hobbs.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, from 12 noon until 8 p.m. Burial will be held at St. Columban Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
