Marvin R. Alexander Marvin Alexander, age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Livingston Manor, Chillicothe, Missouri, surrounded by his family Marvin was born the son of Clyde and Crystal (Holder) Alexander on August 30, 1936, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Charlotte Miller on October 21, 1961, they were married for 54 years. She survives of the home. Marvin was a job superintendent for Irvinbilt Construction for 50 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, and president for Senior Citizens of Livingston County. He loved to take his grandson Caleb four-wheeler riding, hunting, and to play ball. Survivors include wife Charlotte Alexander of the home; son Brian Alexander and wife Lori of Breckenridge, Missouri; one grandson Caleb Alexander of Breckenridge, Missouri; two step-grandchildren Quinton Sanson of Trenton, Missouri and Micah Sanson of Breckenridge, Missouri; and one brother Larry Alexander of St. Joseph, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Jr. Alexander and one sister Marjorie Pfaff. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. There will be a family visitation at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, February 26, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
