Martha Kay (Rose) Burns Martha Kay (Rose) Burns, age 73, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. Martha was born the daughter of Norman F. and Wilma Frances (Bowles) Rose on October 12, 1942, in Carroll County, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Norman Russell Burns on February 4, 1962, in Mandeville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2015. Martha worked for Southwestern Bell in Carrollton, Missouri, for one year. She then worked as a CNA and Med-Tech for Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer, Missouri, for many years. She was a member of the Braymer Baptist Church, Braymer, Missouri. Martha was a loving wife and loved her family very much. She enjoyed working in her garden and flower bed and canning. She loved the outdoors and camping. Survivors include two daughters, Suzann Clevenger and husband Bobby of Braymer, Missouri, and Nancy Maasdam and husband David of Tina, Missouri; two sons, Russell (Rusty) Burns and wife Heather of Bosworth, Missouri, and Scott Burns of Braymer, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Ryan Clevenger and wife Jamie of Braymer, Missouri, Amanda Sneed and husband Brandon of Braymer, Missouri, Steve Clevenger of Braymer, Missouri, Stephanie Jones and husband Cohlby of Tina, Missouri, Brittany Horine and husband Brandon of Rayville, Missouri, Emily Maasdam of Tina, Missouri, Emma Burns of Bosworth, Missouri, and Kaitlyn Burns of Bosworth, Missouri; six great grandchildren, Connor and Carson Clevenger and Kacie Clevenger all of Braymer, Missouri, Addi and Zyler Jones of Tina, Missouri, and Kiah Potts of Tina, Missouri; one brother, Robert Rose of Kingsville, Missouri; and one sister, Jana Burdge of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman; and one brother, Bill Rose. Funeral services will be held at the Braymer Baptist Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Braymer Baptist Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, August 20, 2016, one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Friday, August 19, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Martha Burns Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
