Martha J. Prothero Martha Prothero, age 76, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. Martha was born the daughter of Eddie and Luhetta (Bush) Stephens on September 8, 1938, in Breckenridge, Missouri. She was a 1957 graduate of Breckenridge High School, Breckenridge, Missouri. Martha was united in marriage to Donald Prothero Sr. in March 1960. He preceded her in death in 1996. She was a member of the Baptist Church, Breckenridge, Missouri. Survivors include two sons, Donald Prothero and wife Agnes of Braymer, Missouri, and Ronald Prothero of St. Joseph, Missouri; one brother Eddie Stephens and wife Viola of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and one grandson Donald Prothero III. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother Charles Thomas Stephens. A graveside service will be held at the Shelburne Cemetery, Trenton, Missouri, on Friday, January 2, 2015, at 3:30 p.m. There will be a family fellowship at the Baptist Church, Braymer, Missouri, following the graveside service.
