Martha Ann Pendergast Martha Ann Pendergast, age 80, a resident of Tonganoxie, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Golden LivingCenter, Lansing, Kansas. Martha was born the daughter of James and Mary Aileen (Curry) Klein on March 15, 1933, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. Martha was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Pendergast on November 9, 1950, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 28, 2003. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie, Kansas. Martha was also a member of the Red Hatters. Survivors include one daughter, Catherine Louise Pray of Texas; four grandchildren, Rick Pray and wife Pam of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Tony Pray of Independence, Missouri, Michael Pray of Independence, Missouri, and Clint Walker of Independence, Missouri; six great grandchildren; one brother, Richard Klein of Marshall, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dick; one sister, Margaret Louise Jones; and brother, James "Nick" Klein. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1100 West Street, Tonganoxie, Kansas 66086, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1100 West Street, Tonganoxie, Kansas 66086, on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. with a family visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, May 20, 2013, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
