Martha Lee Davis Martha Lee Davis, age 78, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Life Care Center, Carrollton, Missouri. Martha was born on December 7, 1937, the daughter of Jasper Curtis Foglesong and Elizabeth Cleo Comer in Dalton, Missouri. On August 17, 1953, she married Clarence McGraw in Salisbury, Missouri, to this union 7 children were born. In 1972 she married Melvin Davis. He still remains a special friend to this day. Martha was owner and operator of Grandma's Café from 1992-1997. Grandma (Martha) cooked for several cafes in Hale, Missouri over the years, serving many a farmer breakfast and endless cups of coffee. She is survived by one son, Doug McGraw and wife Kathy of Hale, Missouri; five daughters, Shirley Boley and husband Richard of Hale, Missouri, Mary McGraw of Kansas City, Missouri, Helen Young of Mendon, Missouri, Nancy Maholy and husband Mike of Hale, Missouri, and Jackie Amos and husband Chris of Sweet Springs, Missouri; one daughter in-law Debbie McGraw of Brookfield, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; and thirty-three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence McGraw; one son Curtis McGraw, one sister Shirley Tate, one infant brother, two grandchildren, Johnathan Cory Young, and Billy Jack Burns; two great grandchildren, Hudson Anderson and Korbin McGraw. A scheduled family visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016, from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home Hale, Missouri. Friends may call on Friday, September 23, 2016, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m., at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri. A private graveside service will be held at Hurricane Cemetery at a later date.
