Marjorie L. Young Marjorie L. Young, age 95, of Albany, Missouri, former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016, at Northwest Medical Center, Albany, Missouri. Marjorie was born the daughter of T.M. and Alice (Boggess) Jones on April 22, 1921, in Dawn, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Forrest A. Young on May 3, 1942, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2008. She was a homemaker as well as an Avon Representative for over 40 years. Marjorie was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening and helping Forrest on the farm. Survivors include one son, Fred Young and wife Janice of Chillicothe, Missouri; one son-in-law, Don Lamp of Chillicothe, Missouri; two grandchildren, Kerri Lynn Messner and husband Carl of Albany, Missouri, and Jeff Andrew Young and wife Melissa of Chillicothe, Missouri; five great grandchildren, Connor Andrew Young and wife Lindsey, Kourtne Meghan Messner, Clayton Lee Young, Blayre Ashton Messner, and Kayce Lauren Messner; one great-great grandson, Mason Andrew Young; and one sister, Donna J. Coley of Boonville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Forrest; one daughter, Sharon Lamp; one brother, Tommy Jones; and one sister, Helen Landuyt. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, September 18, 2016, one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, September 17, 2016, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church Preschool of Chillicothe and/or the United Methodist Church of Albany and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
