Marjorie Joann Mitchell

Marjorie Joann Mitchell, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri Passed away on Thursday March 31, 2011 at Livingston Manor Care Center Chillicothe, Missouri. Marjorie was born the daughter of Holly W. and Ilene J. (Phillips) Mitchell on May 13, 1928 in Chillicothe, Missouri. Marjorie worked as a maid at the Lambert Hotel for 15 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilary Unit #25 for 44 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo, and visiting with her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Survivors include one sister Susan Meehan of Chillicothe, Missouri, two brothers; Sammy Paul Mitchell of Dallas, Texas and Gary David Mitchell of May Pearl, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dr. Holly W. Mitchell Jr., one sister Mary Evelyn Ream, and great nephew Micheal Reeter. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 2:00 P.M.at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chillicothe, Missouri.
