Marjorie B. Lowe Marjorie B. Lowe, age 95, a resident of Raytown, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at The Groves, Independence, Missouri. Marjorie was born the daughter of Raymond and Ally Mae (Madden) Childs on August 8, 1921, in Norborne, Missouri. She was a 1938 graduate of Norborne High School, Norborne, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Charles A. Lowe on January 1, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2003. Marjorie worked as a school bus driver for the Raytown School District for 23 years. She was a member of the Raytown Christian Church, Raytown, Missouri. Survivors include three daughters, Susie Kepley and husband Gary of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Jenny Hodapp and husband Dean of Naples, Florida, and Connie Holmes of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two brothers George Childs and wife Bonnie of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Warren Childs of Colorado; one sister, Ann Thomas of Rothville, Missouri; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, four brothers, Walt Childs, Raymond Childs, Billy Childs, and Tommy Childs. Graveside services will be held at the Rock Branch Cemetery, Tina, Missouri, on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Tina, Missouri, on Sunday, March 5, 2017, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Lindley Funeral Home, Tina, Missouri.
