Marjorie Lee Ishmael

Marjorie Lee Ishmael Marjorie Lee Ishmael, age 85, a resident of Laredo, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at her residence. Marjorie was born the daughter of Blaine and Velma Bennett on May 13, 1928, in Browning, Missouri. She was a 1946 graduate of Laredo High School, Laredo, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Andrew T. Ishmael on February 13, 1947, in Troy, Kansas. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2011. She was a member of the Laredo Baptist Church. Marjorie enjoyed gardening, canning, and cross stitching. She also enjoyed competing at the state and local fairs. Survivors include three sons, Max Ishmael and wife MariaLee of Chillicothe, Missouri; Jim Ishmael and wife Sarah of Gallatin, Missouri; and Junior Ishmael of Atlanta, Missouri; five grandchildren, Stacy Zorn and husband Andrew of Naples, Florida, Jason Ishmael and wife Lena of Gallatin, Missouri, Justin Ishmael and wife Katie of Trenton, Missouri, Aaron Ishmael of Gallatin, Missouri, and Courtney Ishmael of Blue Springs, Missouri; two step-grandchildren, Bailey Montgomery of Macon, Missouri, and McKenzie Schrum and husband Devon of Macon, Missouri; twelve great grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Gardner of Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Andrew; and one brother, Max Bennett. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, June 24, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be in Stucker Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri.
