Marjorie E. Corf, age 90, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Friday, December 13th 2024, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Marjorie Corf was born on March 10, 1934 the daughter of Clyde S. and Eula (McCully) Frizzell.
Marjorie attended school in the Chillicothe School District, graduating from Chillicothe High School in 1952. From there she attended Chillicothe Business College, graduating in 1953. After graduating, Marjorie worked in the Chillicothe and Kansas City areas before going to work at Donaldson Company in 1964. She remained at Donaldson Company, in the production control department, until her retirement in 1994.
Marjorie was a member of the First Christian Church in Chillicothe until her passing. She was active in Sunday school and the church choir for many years. On April 22, 1989, she was united in marriage to Carl R. Corf. Marjorie and her beloved dog, Bow, joined Carl on his farm south of Chillicothe. There she enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, and fishing. Marjorie also enjoyed spending time with her step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marjorie is survived by her extended family Carla Williams of Chillicothe, Jennifer (Anthony) Anderson of Chillicothe, Carson, Caylee, Carter, and Chloee Anderson, Andrea (Stephen) Beck of Chillicothe, Harlee, Hadlee, and Hoss Beck, Lance Williams of Chillicothe. Rob (Cindy) Corf of Hale and their children Clay Corf, Logan Corf, Krissy Thompson, Jesse Thompson, and Cheyenne Thompson. She is also survived by several cousins.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, one sister, Marilyn Frizzel, spouse, Carl Corf, and son-in-law David Williams.
There will be a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Operation Help and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhome.com.
